I posted about The Twilight Gamers, a gaming community, I belong to a while back – and this is a general recruitment post! We’re starting to recruit friends through our varies communities and we’ll start looking for players in-game as the mini-Beta’s start to happen in September, but in the meantime, read on to learn more about the The Fractured Force.
It’s Friday! That’s always a big ol plus for a lot of reasons, but here we’ve got our Dev Blog post from The Old Republic. A walk through of a Flashpoint. Looks pretty awesome. I soo cannot wait.
During the week of San Diego Comic-Con, a select number of people had the opportunity to play through ‘The Esseles,’ a Flashpoint that Republic heroes will be able to experience for themselves early in their hero’s journey. In the Flashpoint, players must group together to protect a high-ranking diplomat and fend off Imperial boarding parties.
It’s show time everyone! The Guild is back for another season of gaming fun! I haven’t watched it yet, I just got home – it’s been a wacky few days, but here’s the first new episode of Season 5!
UPDATE: I have watched it! It was pretty good, glad to see everyone back together, and we’ll see where it goes!
Well as Comic-Con closed its doors yesterday, we can look back and be happy at the amount of love Doctor Who received, and the amount of info we got out of the many interviews and appearances.
First and foremost, the second half of Doctor Who season 6 will return on 8/27/11! So be ready, just about four weeks to keep busy. The trailer after the jump!
Second of all, Karen Gillan WILL be returning to Doctor Who next year. That ends all the speculation that she may or may not be returning. (Blastr)
Star Wars: The Old Republic – first we get the pre-order action yesterday, and now we get a new game trailer! With the timetables coming out, I’m guessing a mid to late November launch, but only time will tell for sure. In the meantime there’s going to be some September weekend type of mini-betas and I’m sure a number of other exciting things happening as we get closer to the release date.
I have never read the comics, I love the show. Though the last few episodes with the CDC were wacky, it was damn good. Here we have the trailer for Season 2. Enjoy you zombie loving fools!
It was 4:45am, when I glanced down at my phone while drinking some coffee to find that I had a billion emails, and they all had basically one topic in common “The wait is over, Pre-Order Star Wars: The Old Republic now!”. I almost flipped! How long have we been waiting for some sort of information for pre-ordering, for a release date? A long, long time. That’s how long…
I always thought the first Spiderman in the trilogy we got was great. The first of the new wave (age?) of superhero movies, it gave us almost everything we could want. A nerdy kid, who always seemed uneasy, pushed into the limelight by a spider bite. Spiderman 2, I liked. I know it did good, got some pretty good reviews. I thought it was good action, and a pretty good story. Spiderman 3 had some good points, but very – very few of them. It was more or less just a tumbling mess.So….
Here’s our first official shot of all thirteen of the dwarves from the The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (12/14/12) and The Hobbit: There and Back Again (12/13/13) movies in production now. I cannot wait!
