I’ve touched on it before, but just as friendly reminder, the 2011 Christmas Doctor Who episode, “The Doctor, The Widow & the Wardrobe”, will air on Christmas Day (12/25/11), probably between 5 and 7pm (depending on your location).
The Blogtor Who website has a massive amount of news and information Doctor Who, be sure to check them out. They’ve also got a ton of photos from the upcoming Christmas Special, be sure to check the photos out too! (a few in this post, thanks to them!)
The Doctor is back (well, just for a wee moment), but he’ll really be back on Christmas Day, here’s the prequel episode. Looks like our favorite Time Lord is in danger, as usual
If you had been worried about a Hollywood movie destroying our love of the Doctor, Moffat himself tweeted that’s a big “No”. So see the tweet, relish that our favorite Time Lord is safe, for now!
Guess Who?! It’s Karen Gillan‘s birthday today! Most of you may better her know as the Doctor’s current companion (and I believe longest running one since Rose!).
Strangely enough her birthday also falls on the newly famous ‘Cyber Monday’, or as I’ve recently seen it called ‘Cyberman Monday’!
Well, today is a special today! ‘Doctor Who’ turns 48! Talk about an amazing feat! Awesome
On 23 November, 1963, the first episode of Doctor Who was broadcast. Entitled An Unearthly Child it starred William Hartnell as the Doctor and introduced the world to this mysterious traveler and his incredible time machine known as the TARDIS.
Some of you don’t use twitter or maybe it hasn’t’ crossed your timeline yet – either way, the above is a copy and paste from Doctor Who Magazine’s twitter, and an awesome one at that!
How can I turn down this story? I have a fantastic undying love for Farscape (something I guess I haven’t gotten into, I’ll work on that), but this is a great list, because at some point, you should just list nearly every episode; )
The Jim Henson Company’s early 2000s serial space opera Farscape ran with multiple subplots, and some were more satisfying than others. As a viewer, the key to getting the most out of Farscape is to focus on the conflict between human hero John Crichton and his nemesis Scorpius over the development of galactic game-changing wormhole technology. Out of the series’ 88 episodes and concluding miniseries, here are those episodes required… Whole story here!
Not everyone realises that the TARDIS in Doctor Who has changed many times, and those that do many not realise quite how much it changed. Then again, maybe the differences are only visible to those amongst us who don’t get out enough – Those whose lives are enlivened by doing diagrams such as the one above showing the main TARDIS props to scale.I am unhealthily delighted by creating such diagrams, and if seeing such a diagram delights you, then read on! (see link above)!
